Co-presented by Sun Museum and Surein Foundation

The Surein Foundation is a registered charity dedicated to environmental education in Hong Kong. Last summer, a painting and colouring competition was organised by the Foundation with the aim of promoting an eco-friendly lifestyle through ‘protecting the environment, reducing waste at source, sorting recyclables, and building a green community’. The competition comprises four categories: Open, Secondary and Primary students, and Kindergarten pupils with their parents. Entries were received from Hong Kong, other cities in the Greater Bay Area, Taiwan, and India. The judges selected a total of 42 winners based on content, use of colour, creativity, and artistic skills. They were awarded the first, second, third and merit prizes in each category.

This exhibition features the winning entries of the competition, ranging from sketches, comic strips to watercolours. These artworks not only promote the awareness on environmental protection, but also advocate living an eco-friendly lifestyle to build a better community.
