The event series "Sun Classroom" aims to promote artistic exchange by organising lectures, dialogues, panel discussions, etc, allowing visitors to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the diverse aspects of art.
The Ancients Cherished Shan Shui and The Westerns Cherished Landscapes
In conjunction with the exhibition "The 2nd Hong Kong Paintings in Sai Yuen Lane", Sun Museum will present a lecture titled "Sun Classroom: The Ancients Cherished Shan Shui and The Westerns Cherished Landscapes ", led by our Director, Dr. Lesley Lau. The session will take place on Saturday, 3 October, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Dr. Lau will guide audiences to explore the differences between Shan Shui paintings and landscapes painting, offering an in-depth interpretation of their unique aesthetics.
